Mark F. Wheeler

Mark F. Wheeler, Executive Vice President and Regional Chairman of U.S. Bank, Louisville, is U.S. Bank’s highest ranking executive in the Louisville market. He has responsibility for commercial banking in the Louisville, Nashville, Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron and Columbus markets. He has been in the banking industry for 28 years.

Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Mr. Wheeler was senior vice president and manager of national corporate banking for PNC Bank, which included the Kentucky region.

Mr. Wheeler’s current community involvement includes being a member of the following boards: Lincoln Heritage-Boy Scouts, Louisville Zoo, Fund for the Arts, Thornton Oil Corporation, The Housing Partnership, University of Louisville Overseers, Galen College of Nursing, BDS Management Group, Inc., E-town Motel Associates, LLC, and Louisville Development Bancorp, Inc. He is also a member of the administration committee for Our Lady of Lourdes.

Mr. Wheeler is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration – Finance degree in 1981. He and his wife, Michelle, have two children.
